Peter Flottman Will Suit-Up for the All Stars in the 26th Annual Celebrity Softball Classic

This is the second straight year the Flottman Company has supported this event as part of their community outreach program. According to Tom Flottman, CEO of Flottman Company, We are exemplifying the importance of supporting our community and keeping our employees engaged for a good cause. The Flottman Company has also donated a suite at the UC Health Stadium for families dealing with autism so that they can watch the game in style.

Since 1988, The Celebrity Softball Classic has been a vehicle to assist many charitable organizations reach their financial goals. Many local as well as nationally acclaimed athletes, including players from the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds will take part in the event. Also participating will be alumni athletes from the University of Kentucky, University of Cincinnati, and Xavier University. The rosters will also include many local celebrities, radio and television personalities and business all stars. After the game, there will be an autograph session, a Rozzi fireworks display, and the Annual Balloon Release. This will also be the second straight year the Flottman Companys CFO Peter Flottman will play for the Celebrity All Stars. Last year Peter was accredited for his speed and determination. This year, being more seasoned, he is looking to clear the fences with his first swing. I know what to expect this year and the intimidation factor has worn off, I am ready! stated Peter Flottman.

ATRS Recycling Kicked Up Its Heels at 46th Annual San Dimas Western Days and Rodeo

Participants in the 46th Annual San Dimas Western Days & Rodeo had one more environmentally friendly reason to kick up their heels this past Saturday and Sunday, October 5 & 6, 2013.

Attendees were encouraged to bring a bag of unwanted clothes, shoes, old rodeo boots and household textiles to the parade downtown San Dimas for recycling. Brightly colored ATRS Recycling bins were stationed at Bonita Street near City Hall Parking Lot and on the Rodeo Grounds on San Dimas Canyon Road at Horsethief Canyon. By-standers watched as the distinctive ATRS truck passed along the parade route.

San Dimas residents already support the textile recycling program and many local retailers, property managers and store owner provide this easy and convenient opportunity to recycle all year round. Every pound collected in the community generates revenue to support local charity Giving Children Hope. The funds are used to support the Weve Got Your Back nutrition program in area schools. This was a fun opportunity to teach families and kids about the benefits of recycling, said Bill Corrao, Government Relations Director for ATRS Southern California. United Hebrew of New Rochelle to Hold 28th Annual Golf Tournament in New Rochelle, NY

New Rochelle, NY (PRWEB) June 24, 2013

United Hebrew of New Rochelle will hold its 28th Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle. Proceeds generated from the tournament will support programmatic initiatives across the campus of services. Last year, more than 120 golfers participated and raised nearly $ 180,000. This year’s golf tournament will begin at 10 a.m. with registration, practice and full breakfast buffet. A shotgun start will follow at noon. Between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., a barbecue lunch will be served at the Halfway House, and at 5 p.m., cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served on the main terrace. Dinner and an award presentation will follow at 6 p.m. in the main dining room.

Anthony Nardozzi of Bedford will serve as event chairperson. United Hebrew of New Rochelle is currently accepting sponsorships and foursomes. Prices are $ 900 per golfer and $ 3,500 per foursome. Cocktails and dinner only is $ 200 per person.
